National Archives Chicago Workshops

The National Archives Chicago Branch will be offering two workshops in the late Spring.

Telling Your Family Story on Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  The class fee is $10 payable at the door. Staff from How History Works, Inc., will present Telling Your Family Story providing tips and tricks to help you write and publish your family history.

Using Court Records to Find Local and Family History will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The class fee is $10 payable at the door. A National Archives Archivist will share how court records can enhance family histories and help provide clues for more research.

Both workshops require preregistration because seating is limited. Email NARA or call them 773-948-9001.
