Military Monday – Writing Prompts September 9, 2013

Are you interested in writing your military ancestor stories? Here are a few writing prompts to get you thinking and writing. You can visit my FaceBook groups Military Research and Storytelling or Women During WWII for more ideas. 

Prompt #1: Do you have any letters, diaries, photographs, or post cards from your military ancestor? Write about their service using these items.

Prompt #2: Women were just as powerful as men during WWII. Write a brief piece on how you viewed your female ancestors as powerful during WWII.

Prompt #3: She said a prayer when …….

Prompt #4: I am grateful for the service of my ancestors because ……..
